PLA, or Polylactic Acid, is a budget friendly Bioplastic made from things such as corn starch or sugarcane. PLA is a highly versatile material and is great for low heat, semi-low-strength applications. PLA can be found in more colors and variations than any other plastic for 3D printing, from glow-in-the-dark to wood or marble finishes.

ASA, or Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate, is a plastic very similar to ABS, but it has a superpower. It's resistant to UV radiation, so is much less suceptible to bleaching and breaking down in sunlight, making it the perfect plastic for outdoor applications.
